Hello Swim Families! 

Ready for our last chance meet? This is always a fun time with just our team and we will shake it up a bit :) Please see below for important info. There is different info regarding this meet.  There are also 2 signups below for tomorrow night, be sure you catch those!

WHEN - Thursday, June 27th

SET UP and CHECK IN VOLUNTEERS - Arrive at 4pm

SWIMMERS and PARENT VOLUNTEERS - Check in at 4:30 

Maple Ridge Warm ups - 5pm

Meet Start - 6pm

Volunteer Schedule - See attached . Remember to check-in and get your name tag!

Swimmer Events and Heat Sheets will be available at the meet. 

Parking - PLEASE ONLY PARK ON DESIGNATED SIDES OF THE STREET. THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE CUL-D-SACS. Our last 2 home meets the NO PARKING sign for the cul-d-sac has been ignored, and we received an unsavory message from residents. IF YOUR CAR IS IN THE CUL-D-SAC on Danielle Way, it will be called to be towed. 

Bullpen - Our swimmer bullpen will be near the red bench staging area outside the front gate and will be marked. Please have your swimmers stay in this area. 

Spectators: our team may set up chairs on the hill side of the deck, keeping the pavilion side open as usual. We are a large team, please be conscious of the space you take. We will also still be setting up family areas in the parking lot. 

Meet Theme - This week we honor our graduating senior swimmers with SUPER SENIOR NIGHT! Come in your best superhero wear. We will have tattoos for all the swimmers to apply after they check in. The seniors will be doing their senior swim towards the end of the meet. Please consider sticking around for this fun time with the whole team!  We will also be dunking the coaches :)

PARENT RELAY! We are bringing back our parent relay for event 36.5 :) This is always a fun time for parents to show their kids what they're made of! Not to mention a great way to cool off! If you would like to participate, please RSVP on the signup. It will be one length of the pool per participant.

INCLEMENT WEATHER - be sure you are on REMIND for quick communication. 

Patience, Grace and Good Sportsmanship...last but not least, we ask that ALL of our parents and swimmers come to the meet with a positive attitude, ready to have a good time and show good sportsmanship. We know there have been a lot of changes this season, and not all have been easy to adapt to. We appreciate all the smiles we've seen, and helpful and kind parents we've met. Parents, your swimmers will take their cues from you. Let's help them be the best and kindest they can be to their fellow athletes. We are ALL volunteers doing the best we can with what we have to work with, along with a common goal: providing a safe and fun summer swim experience for our kids. It can get hot and it can get long, but we can do this together!
