Hello Swim Families!

Thank you for your patience with this week's meet email. As we mentioned at the parent meeting, when we are swimming away we can be a bit at the mercy of the hosting team for needed info. We are still wating for them to send the heat sheet. This will come in a seperate email the moment we receive it so you have time to print. Please read carefully as there is a lot of info below. 

Please remember that we are guests in the Edinburgh pool and neighborhood. Please remember to follow and respect their guidelines and be conscious of your driving through their neighborhood. 

Dual Meet 1 - MR @ EDM.

WHERE: Edinburgh - 5344 Brendlynn Dr, Suwanee, 30024

PLEASE NOTE>>>>Edinburgh is a gated community so please have your driver’s license for the security gate and just let them know you’re there for the swim meet. The pool clubhouse is straight in from the front gate.

Arrival: Arrive and check in by 5pm. Maple Ridge warm-ups are 5:30. Check in will be in the bullpen. Swimmers and volunteers must check in! 

CHECK IN WORKERS-Please be a few minutes early to allow time to find the bullpen and get set up. 

NOTES FROM EDINBURGH:

• We invite your team to join in with our Red, White and Blue All American theme in memory of those that have served
• PARKING: Feel free to park anywhere in our main pool parking lot or along the designated single side of the street around pool area. Parking signs will be out to guide you. Please DO NOT PARK in the vacant lot to the right of the clubhouse OR in the secondary tennis parking lot. Cars NOT parked in designated areas, OR blocking driveways, will be towed. 
• VISITOR BULLPEN: MR Bullpen will be around the right side of our clubhouse which you can access without going thru any gates. You will have a small bit of blacktop area as well as grassy area, leading to the side pool gate. There is some shade! Your swimmers will enter the pool deck thru the side gate near the baby pool.
• The Merging/Staging Area will be in the lower clubhouse patio. Visitors section for spectators will be along the side closest to the clubhouse. Please leave both ends of the pool clear for coaches and officials.

•  CONCESSIONS will be available on the upper patio. We will have a variety of the normal fare- pizza, pasta, nachos, snacks, candy and drinks. We will also feature Italian Ice from Jeremiah’s, one of our sponsors. We will be accepting cash and Venmo for all purchases. Heat sheets will NOT be sold at concessions. Please print before you come. 

• Near concessions we will have results scrolling on a monitor for you to view. We ask that no one enter the clubhouse. Restrooms are located on the bottom patio to the left of the gym.

REMINDERS FOR MAPLE RIDGE:

• Bullpen PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFO: This is new bullpen area for our team, as we have not traveled to this pool before. Make sure you are on time so you can park and find this area to set up. Children MUST stay in our team area. This is a very large pool area and we need to have swimmers running around as little as possible. Your swimmer CANNOT sit with you, however if you want to be with your swimmer then you may go to the bullen. 
•  Bullpen Volunteers: You must keep all swimmers in the bullpen area unless they are lining up and heading to their event. 
• Inclement Weather: In case of bad weather we ask swimmers/parents to head to their cars and wait for a Remind message with further instruction.  
• Volunteer jobs are attached. You can also view jobs on the Swimtopia App. Event entries are also attached.
• Don't Forget: Goggles, Swim cap (extra caps and goggles), Towels (for drying and sitting), sunscreen, bug spray, non-electronic entertainment for the bullpen, healthy snacks, chairs for parents, cash for concessions
  Volunteer jobs are attached. You can also view jobs on the Swimtopia App. Event entries are also attached.
• Ribbons and computer volunteers: computer verifier can meet EDM guys, Nick and Phil, in the computer room. Computer area is in the gym on the lower patio. Also find April or Katrina and we can help you find your way. First half ribbon workers do not need to report until around event 20.
