Practice Starts THIS MONDAY the 9th!

Hello Swim Families!Are you ready to start the 2022 swim season?!?!?!
Practice begins this coming Monday the 9th. Please be sure to visit the website and double check your practice times!
This is a crazy time of the year and schedules are hard. We know not every swimmer will make every pre season practice. This is completely fine! Just make it when you can; no need to let us know attendance for practice.
This first week of practice will be very busy as coaches get to know swimmers and assess their ability in the water. Please be patient! The coaches will be very busy. Please do not try to have conversation with or ask questions of them during practice time. Should you have any questions as the week goes on, try to either catch a board member OR send us a message.
REMINDERS AND INFO:
- No parents on deck during practice
- If you are a NEW SWIMMER to the team, bring a copy of swimmers birth certificate if you have NOT already shown us.
- Swimmers need to come ready for practice: suited up, goggles ready. It is helpful for swimmers to have a bag with towel, extra goggles, cap, sunscreen, water, etc.
- IF YOU ORDERED A TEAM CAP, these will be available at practice for pick up.
- TEAM MERCHANDISE will be delivered at practice as it is available.
- SWIMMER T -SHIRTS, will be delivered and passed out on team picture day (May 24th)
- PLEASE BE ON TIME TO PICK UP YOUR SWIMMER AT END OF PRACTICE.
- PARENT MEETING will be Sunday, May 15th, 4-5pm in the Maple Ridge pool parking lot. Whether you are a new OR returning swim family, it is important for at least one parent per swimmer to attend this meeting. A lot has shifted over the last couple of years and this season won't be the same as the last, or even pre-covd.
Please be conscious of your driving and speed as you come in and out of Maple Ridge. It is a privilege to get to swim here and use these facilities, we want to be respectful and safe to everyone.
