Pancake Breakfast Details!
Hello Swim Families!
Tomorrow, Tuesday the 15th, is our food drive and pancake breakfast! Have your swimmer bring to practice any donations. The North Gwinnett coop services many families in need in our community. Especially during the summer time with no school, many children are going without food since they had been able to get meals via their Gwinnett County School. The Coop does have a list of current needs on their website. Visit Northgwinnettcoop.org to see their current list of needs. Some examples: laundry detergent, shampoo, dish soap, toothpaste, paper towels, spaghetti sauce, white rice, ramen noodles, diapers, sugar, flour.
After your swimmer’s practice time we will have a pancake breakfast for the swimmers. Plain and blueberry pancakes with butter and syrup will be served. The swimmers will come to the pavilion to get served and then directed to the grass area around the baby pool to eat. If you prefer your swimmer to take their pancakes to go, please be sure to communicate that to us that morning AND to you swimmer. We will then escort swimmers to the back gate when they are done eating. They must leave the deck before the next practice group comes for their food.
Parents of swimmers 8years old and under are permitted to come help their swimmer with their pancakes. Please enter through the back gate at the end of your swimmer’s practice time.
If you have a swimmer with dietary restrictions you are welcome to send something for them to enjoy with their swim friends.
See you poolside!
