Hello Swim Families!

Yes, we are aware the weather forecast is not it's best this afternoon/evening. As a reminder....We DO NOT call a meet early. Everyone is to arrive at their designated times, and if needed, wait for further instruction. A storm may hit at 4p or 5p, but then it may be clear to start at 6p! Anything can happen....this is the nature of summer swim. This is when REMIND is going to be your best friend. If it's REALLY yucky at arrival/check in time we may send a message encouraging you to park and stay in your cars and wait for further instruction. Or, we may get started and then have to wait out a little thunder from time to time. 

The consequence of somebody deciding on their own to not show up affects the team. It causes us to have to scratch that swimmer when possibly weather is cleared up by their event # . It could also cause an entire relay team to scratch if one of those swimmer's does not show. Therefore, causing 3 other swimmers to to not be able to swim their event. 

Please know the coaches and board are always looking at the weather and communicating. When there are calls to be made, delays needed...ANY info, we will be sending out REMIND messages.
