Hello Swim Families!

Looks like Summer has arrived. Are you ready for a week of HOT temps in the COOL Pool!?!? As we get ready to jump into our last week of pre-season practice we have some important info and reminders for you. 

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER! There will be NO PRACTICE this Wednesday 5/26; the last day of school.

Regular Season Practice will begin next Tuesday 6/1 after the holiday weekend. If you are unsure, please double check if you registered for morning or evening practice. This list can be found on our website under the Practice Info tab. Your swimmer may ONLY come to the practice they are currently registered for. We know some of you have asked to switch, we will be looking at those numbers to see if there are options to do that. Those changes will be made on a first come first serve basis of when you requested. 

Kickboards! Kickboards are used daily during your swimmer's practice throughout the season. If your swimmer still does not have a team appropriate board please be sure to get one as soon as possible!

REMIND!!! If you have not signed up yet for REMIND, please do so asap. This is the first line of communication during our meet nights. Text @mrswim21 to 81010

Drive Safely! It has been brought to our attention that some cars are coming in on two wheels through Maple Ridge getting to practice. Please remember that it is a privilege extended to us by Maple Ridge and it's members to operate our team out of their facilities. There are also many swimmers in Maple Ridge who walk to practice and we want them to be SEEN and SAFE. It is not worth the 2 minutes you might save. 

LASTLY.....Swim Trials THIS THURSDAY....Per our previous email, we will be timing swimmers during their regular practice time this Thursday so we can get some baseline times. This will take place during your swimmer's regular practice time. We will need timers and stroke and turn judges (only those who are certified) to do this. We have only had a handful of parents sign up to be a timer during their swimmer's practice time, and we currently have NO volunteers for the 6 and under group. 

To your swimmers time slot please log into your swimtopia account. MUST BE DONE ON COMPUTER, NOT PHONE....

• click on Meets & Events
• click on Swim Meets
• next to Time Trials, you will see a green button for “Job Signup”
• your name (parent) will appear then click the blue box “sign up for jobs”
• next check the box next to the time you would like to volunteer
